Last updated: October 10, 2026. This notice describes the current information-only Public Benefit Guide website and optional email contact. Professional-help requests are not currently being collected.
Information you choose to provide
You can read guides without registering or supplying contact information. If you email publicbenefitguide@gmail.com, we receive your email address, your message and any information you choose to include, and may use them to consider or respond to your site question, correction or organization inquiry. This mailbox is hosted by Gmail; your email service and Google also process email under their own practices.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, benefit login credentials, banking information, identity documents, medical records or other sensitive claim documents. We are not collecting professional-help requests or routing consumer claim information to providers.
If you use the site’s search, the search terms are sent to the website in the page URL to retrieve results. Avoid putting personal claim details in search. This website has no public contact form or document-upload form.
Technical information processed by hosting
The website uses Namecheap EasyWP hosting. A web server receives technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. Namecheap states that hosting log files may include visitor IP addresses. This technical processing is separate from information you intentionally send to Public Benefit Guide.
We have not confirmed the exact retention period for this site’s hosting logs or backups and do not promise a deletion schedule for them. See Namecheap’s hosting and service privacy details and Namecheap’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies, browser storage and third-party features
An anonymous browser check on October 10, 2026 of the homepage, unemployment hub, pending-adjudication guide and Get Help page found no cookies or local-storage entries. WordPress used session storage for an emoji-display support check. No analytics or advertising tags, embedded third-party frames, or public submission forms were observed on those pages. This describes the checked configuration, not a guarantee about every browser or future change.
WordPress administrator sign-in is separate from ordinary reading and may use authentication cookies. Namecheap’s documentation also discusses tracking in its own services; that statement alone does not establish that such tracking runs on these public pages.
External links and email links
Opening an external resource takes you to a website operated by someone else. That provider may receive technical information and use its own cookies or storage under its own privacy notice. We do not control those practices. Clicking an email link opens your email application; a message is sent only if you choose to send it.
Retention and privacy questions
No fixed retention period for voluntary email correspondence has been established. If you have a privacy question or want to ask about a message you sent, email publicbenefitguide@gmail.com. Please identify the request without resending sensitive documents. We will consider what can be addressed within the systems we control; this notice does not promise deletion from independent providers’ systems or backups.
Before professional-help intake changes
This privacy notice must be updated before real professional-help collection is enabled. Any such service would need to explain its actual data uses, recipients, permissions, retention and handling. The present notice does not authorize that collection or sharing.
This notice does not claim certification or compliance with GDPR, CCPA or other privacy laws. Questions about this website can also be sent through Contact & Corrections.
